Retailers have to keep cash on hand, settle received cash with their employees, keep it safe and take it to the bank – for security reasons, and to have the money credited to their account. This means more work and organisation.
The smartsafe management solution with CashPilot helps to minimise this effort. Employees pay their cash into the smartsafe at the end of their shift and receive a receipt. The CIT collects the cash on the cost-optimal day proposed by CashPilot. Depending on the contract, the deposits are credited to the retailer’s bank account either at the time of deposit or later (for example after counting in the cash centre). All parties involved in this process (retailer, CIT, cash centre, technician) have access to the data they need.
